We started UrbnThreads in 2021 with one rule: nothing rushed. Two seasons a year, ten pieces at a time, fabrics ordered six months out. The patience shows up in the cut. It shows up in the way a hoodie sits after a year. It shows up in the small things that we built carefully on purpose.
Our atelier sits on a quiet street in Porto. A small team of cutters and stitchers, a handful of looms, a coffee machine that's older than most of us. We visit every Tuesday. We watch the seams. We adjust by hand. Nothing leaves the room without a touch from someone who knows what they're holding.
Each garment is built to be worn for a decade. Heavy fabrics, reinforced seams, patches when needed. We'd rather sell you one hoodie that lasts than four that don't. Our repair program is part of the price. Bring it back. We'll make it right.
